SSL Issues

I have installed the certificate and it looks correct, but when I turn on SSL in the Global Settings, the secured pages are not accessable. Any tips or tricks I might be missing?

SSL

First make sure you can access your site using HTTPS (https://www.mysite.com). If you can't then you probably need port 443 set up on your web server. This is really all the "Use SSL" option does. It swithes you to HTTPS at the appropriate times.

SSL Enabled, but not forcing user to use HTTPS for "secure" page

I have ticked the "Enable SSL" option and configured everything up. Primo!

Admin site is SSL now. When I go to http://localhost/znode/admin it automatically redirects to HTTPS - Brilliant!

But the customer site isn't.

I just performed the following without it redirecting or forcing me to use HTTPS:

- Registered.
- Changed password
- Checkout completed.

Shouldn't there have been a redirect in there somewhere?

SSL Enabled

Yes those operations should take you to HTTPS. In fact you should be able to try this out on demo1.znode.com. Let us know if you find a sequence of steps that causes this to not work on the demo site and we will look into this furhter.

ssl?

I just tried this out on demo1.znode.com, but I was never forced into SSL mode.

SSL

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this.

demo1 does not have an SSL certificate installed and does not have the Use SSL option turned on. If you want to see this in action go to demo2.znode.com.
