I only have the professional edition.

I am doing it correctly right?

Development and content addition on localhost?

And then send files to hosting or MSI to hosting and then replace changed files?

And then restore DB on hosting?

Please advise.

Yes you essentially have it correct. The only adjustment I would make is that you do not want to run the MSI on your server. Instead compile your application in Visual Studio and deploy to a local directory. You can then FTP the application to your web server.
