I'm really confused by how shipping works in Znode.

Why does Flat Fee shipping option add the handling charge and the base cost to shipping for every item in the shopping cart?

Isn't the whole point of a Flat Fee shipping system to have one handling charge per order, one base cost per order, plus an additional fee per item after the first?

There is no way to charge one handling cost for an entire order? Or a base shipping cost for an entire order? Without digging in an customizing the code?

Am I missing something, because this is the most popular shipping system by far in retail (along with shipping rate determined by total order value, which also isn't available).

Someone please help me and tell me I'm just missing how to set this up!
