SEO Settings Not Working
I know that ZNode has had issues in the past with the SEO settings / meta tags and it was supposed to be addressed long ago (http://kb.znode.com/node/135).
However, I believe that the meta tagging / SEO settings are still an issue in ZNode, up to version 5.0.
I just noticed that it is not working on my site. So, I checked a bunch of the other live ZNode web sites in the "Showcase" (Emily's Chocolates, Drew Shoes, LoJack, Wawa, ImageCraft, Stauf's Coffee Roasters), and could not find even ONE of them where the meta tags were being properly generated by ZNode.
They were all blank.
Uh oh.
Of course, it's possible that no one cares about whether they are listed with the search engines or not, and didn't bother to fill in these fields, but I find that highly unlikely.

Meta Tagging in Znode
If you can explain what the issue is with the meta tagging then we can look into it.
I did try a test on demo2.znode.com to see if the meta tags were created and here was the result on the home page:
<meta name="keywords" content="This is a meta tag I entered from the admin" /><meta name="description" content="My Meta Description entered from the admin" /><meta name="title" content="Home Page Title enered from the admin" />
I also checked drewshoe.com and they also have meta tags.

Just because the site does not have tags it does not mean that the feature does not work. We don't control what tags people choose to use or not use on their sites. Take this page for instance (note that you need to scroll to the right to see the meta tags):
