It seems like by default the categories in the root menu are minimized by default, is there any way to have them maximized by default (like if i had clicked on them)

Enable this Category
Check this box if this category item should be displayed on the navigation menu.
Display Subcategories
Check this box if sub-categories should be displayed on the category page.
