Data Manager Questions
PROBLEM 1: When I go to upload a edited inventory.csv that is in the SAME format as the csv file that i downloaded from Download Inventory. It returns this error "Failed to process your request. Please try again." every time that I've tried to upload it. Another question that I have is do i have to upload a csv file with ALL information or, if i just upload a file that was the addon only will it just delete the database and upload that file only?
PROBLEM 2: When I go to upload an edited pricing.csv that is in the same format as the csv file that I downloaded . the only difference is the added values just like in my inventory.csv in problem 1. It returns the error i put below.
PROBLEM 3: Because there is no Download Products, I do not know the format of the csv file that i can upload.
PROBLEM 4: same promlem as problem 3 i don't know the format.
I would love to just look at the documentation on how your data manager works but honestly whoever wrote it did not bother to explain its functionality.
also i am attaching 4 files of my csv. 1 is the downloaded inventory 1 is the downloaded pricing, 1 is the edited inventory and the last is the edited pricing. I renamed them as .txt because I was unable to upload the .csv file. also i added then new before inventory and pricing to identify which are the edited files.

Problem 1
I saw that same errror message when I tried to upload product for the first time. In my case the problem was that I was using invalid data in one of the fields. For example, I entered a brand ID that was not in the database.

zNode is built off of a SQL
zNode is built off of a SQL Server 2005 back-end which provides a veritable smorgasbord of backup schemes you could implement. To manually backup the database, first use SQL Server Management studio to connect to your database server. In the object explorer, right click the database you wish to backup and do Tasks > Backup. From here you can decide which backup method you would like to use. I assume you haven't backed up this database before, so a full backup is your golden ticket, but it's up to you to pick your flavor.
You can read more on what the different types of database backups offer you here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms187510.aspx
